Methionine + Inositol + Choline + Carnitine + Methylcobalamin Injection Solution (Slim down/SD Shot)
Available presentation(s): 5.5, 55 mL. Verify the exact concentration and total active quantity on the prescription and dispensing label.
Introduction: A compounded lipotropic combination of methionine, inositol, choline, carnitine and methylcobalamin. The combination has no established approved indication or validated evidence-based regimen for weight loss.
Dosage: No standard weight-loss dose exists. The label expresses actives per 1.1 mL; the prescription must state exact volume and component doses, route, frequency, duration, clinical objective and monitoring. It must not replace evidence-based obesity assessment and treatment.
Mechanisms of Action: Components participate in methyl-group transfer, phospholipid/lipoprotein metabolism, mitochondrial fatty-acid transport and B12-dependent pathways. These biochemical roles do not demonstrate that injection causes clinically meaningful fat loss.
Contraindications & Precautions: Avoid in hypersensitivity. Use caution in renal/hepatic disease, seizure disorders and trimethylaminuria. High choline exposure can cause hypotension, fishy odour and hepatic effects. Assess total B12/carnitine/choline exposure and excipients.
Interactions: Levocarnitine may increase INR with warfarin. Additive blood-pressure effects are possible. Metformin and nitrous oxide affect B12 physiology. Interactions of the complete mixture are not established.
Adverse Reactions / Side Effects: Injection-site pain, nausea, diarrhoea, abdominal discomfort, headache, dizziness, hypotension, fishy odour, rash and hypersensitivity are possible. Long-term safety for weight management is unknown.
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding: Do not use for weight loss during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Treat specific nutrient deficiencies separately with evidence-based dosing when indicated.
Storage: Store under the conditions stated on the Optimus dispensing label and product-specific worksheet. Protect from light where labelled. Do not freeze unless explicitly validated. Maintain cold chain if the label requires refrigeration. Do not use after the assigned beyond-use date or if there is visible particulate matter, precipitation, colour change, loss of container integrity or evidence of improper storage. Once entered, follow the validated in-use time; do not assume a compounded vial is multi-dose.
